Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, assist Radiologists, and provide imaging services for ED, inpatients, and outpatients. The role requires ARRT certification and BLS, with a preference for acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with ARRT certification.
• Maintain ARRT registry via continuing education activities.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body parts.
• Work under Radiologist supervision and explain procedures to patients.
• Serve ED, hospital, and outpatient patients with imaging services.
• Perform procedures per protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Maintain technical and patient-care skills to provide quality diagnostic results.
