Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging. You will document patient histories and prepare contrast media, coordinating with radiologists and physicians to optimize exam quality.

Requirements include ARRT-recognized radiologic technology training, registry eligibility with completion within 1 year, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates proper anatomical positioning.
