Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist at Wake Forest Health Network: Greensboro Medical Plaza Northwest - Orthopedics in Greensboro, NC. Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

with rotating days 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and one Saturday per month. Role performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, documents patient history, prepares contrast, and collaborates with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
