Job summary

Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time day shift (Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm). The role involves prepping rooms, positioning patients, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure safe, accurate care. Credentials include BLS and CRT, ARRT/CI or RCIS where applicable.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in radiologic technology and certification.
• BLS certification required by policy.
• CRT license issued by DOH is required.
• ARRT CI or RCIS credentials are preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Positioning patients and maintaining safety and comfort.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.

This is a Part-Time Day shift opportunity working Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures


• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients


• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift


• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements


• Comfortable with Pediatrics


• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy

Experience Requirements

• Customer Service Experience preferred


• Radiology/Imaging Experience preferred


• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School
