Job summary

Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Radiology Technologist to join the Diagnostic Imaging Department on a part-time evening schedule (5:00pm–2:00am). You will prepare rooms, position patients, and capture high-quality diagnostic images with safety and compassion.

Work closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and report to the Lead Technologist on shift. Required BLS and ARRT CI (or equivalent); pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT CI certification is required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist or ARRT registered; RCIS/ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Position patients and prep rooms for imaging.
• Report to Lead Technologist on shift.

Position Overview

Radiology Technologist in our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time Evenings opportunity working Monday-Wednesday 5:00pm-2:00am.

As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.


• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and having a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.


• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.


• Complying with mandatory education and health requirements.


• Comfortable with Pediatrics.


• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
