Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South. This full-time role involves prepping rooms, positioning patients, and operating advanced imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions.

The ideal candidate has radiology/imaging experience in a hospital setting, strong customer service, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CI) or ARRT RT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist preferred/required as applicable.
• RCIS may be required depending on role.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and provide compassionate care.
• Coordinate with nursing and physician teams.
• Report to Lead Technologist on shift.

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

This Radiology Technologist Will Be Responsible For

• Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable with Pediatrics
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.
