Job summary

Baptist Health Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to prepare rooms, position patients, and capture diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You will work closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure safe, accurate, compassionate patient care.

This role requires Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certification options; Pediatric experience is a plus. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $1,000.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in radiology/imaging is preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures.
• Promote goodwill with coworkers and other departments, and maintain a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Report to the Lead Technologist on shift; comply with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or institutional policy.

Radiology Technologist Position

This is a part‑time opportunity. As a Radiology Technologist, your day will consist of prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images that guide clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, operate advanced imaging equipment, and ensure every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Performing high‑quality radiographic procedures.

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required OR
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

This Radiology Technologist will be located at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL.
