Job summary

UChicago Medicine in the Chicago area is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform imaging studies across inpatients and outpatients in the Radiology Department. You will work under the Radiology Supervisor, provide direction to assigned staff, and participate in QA and safety practices.

The role requires ARRT certification, AMA-approved school graduate, CPR, and Illinois licensure; it is based in the greater Chicagoland area with shifts day, and involves multiple Harvey-area sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Maintain ARRT certification and Illinois radiography license.
• CPR certification and active licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures as ordered for inpatients and outpatients.
• Maintain daily QC on imaging equipment per protocol.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and effective communication.
• Provide leadership direction to assigned staff and collaborate with the Radiology Supervisor.
