Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Radiology Technologist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA. This full-time night shift position offers a competitive hourly wage and a sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 in applicable markets.

The technologist will perform diagnostic radiology procedures, protect patients from radiation exposure, and support a multidisciplinary team. ARRT certification and BLS are required; state licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state)
• BLS from American Heart Association (required at hire for certain locations; preferred before independent patient care)

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and lab work for licensed practitioner use.
• Positions and immobilizes patient to visualize the area of interest.
• Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment and accessories.
• Verifies consent and completes pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assists licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic procedures and aseptic technique.
• Performs required safety timeouts.
