Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Harmonized) at Maryview Medical Center in Virginia. The role involves diagnostic imaging under an authorized user, with emphasis on radiology procedures, patient safety, and accurate documentation.

The position requires ARRT certification, state licensure (preferred), BLS, and at least 1 year of related experience. A sign-on bonus may be offered; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required at hire for certain locations).
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred).
• Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient's clinical history and verify lab results for licensed practitioner use.
• Position and immobilize patient to best demonstrate area of interest.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment to perform radiographic procedures.
• Verify informed consent and complete pre/post procedure documentation.
• Assist licensed practitioner with fluoroscopic and radiography procedures; maintain aseptic technique.
