Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time nighttime schedule in Burlington, MA. This role performs diverse diagnostic radiographic procedures across OR, ER, fluoroscopy, inpatients and outpatients, while prioritizing patient safety and ALARA principles.

Qualifikationen

• Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Public Health: Radiation Control Program in Radiography.
• Certified in basic life support (BLS).

Aufgaben

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.
• Obtains and documents necessary patient information or history for appropriate exams.
• Documents all pertinent information involving the use of IV/oral contrast in medical record.
• Maintains radiology information systems (RIS) with high accuracy.
• Operates RIS and PACS to ensure timely, accurate image labeling and image quality.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure while ensuring diagnostic image quality.
• Willing to work off-sites as needed and participate in on-call and holiday rotation.
