Live Well Homecare seeks an MRI Technologist to perform or assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring proper patient identification, preparation, and safety while optimizing image quality.

The candidate should hold an MR certification (ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB) and have completed a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with strong focus on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• MR imaging certification required by hire (ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB).
• Radiologic Technology program completion; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders, confirm patient identity, and document history.
• Apply imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and follow ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed supervision.
• Evaluate image quality, position patients, and manage data storage/transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional MR procedures.
• Ensure safety principles to minimize risk to patients, staff and self.
• Select pulse sequences appropriate to protocols and data acquisition needs.
• Participate in quality improvement and maintain proficiency in routine and complex duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain correct orders, verify patient identity, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Apply appropriate imaging protocols, maximize patient safety, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner guidance.
• Evaluate images for quality, position correctly, and manage data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional MR procedures.
• Ensure safety principles are followed to minimize risks to patients, self, and staff.
• Select suitable pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MR specialization at hire.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology training program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
