Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to independently perform diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures, analyze data, and support licensed practitioners while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. The role involves preparing patients, obtaining orders, and maintaining documentation in a clinical setting.

You will monitor imaging quality, apply ALARA principles, educate staff and students, and participate in interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and technical skills.
• Certification required: ARRT (MRI) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical histories while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed, evaluate images for quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, apply safety principles, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Select suitable pulse sequences, demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties, and participate in quality improvement activities.

MRI Technologists use radiofrequencies within a magnetic field to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging. They independently conduct MRI procedures, analyze data, and assist licensed practitioners, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Key Responsibilities
