Qualifications

• Associates from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• State Licensure (preferred)
• BLS Basic Life Support required at hire for certain locations; preferred at hire, required prior to independent patient care

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and labs for clinician use
• Positions and immobilizes patient ensuring comfort
• Minimizes radiation exposure
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment
• Verifies consent and completes documentation
• Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures
• Requires timely pre/post procedure documentation
