Qualifications

• Education: Two year AMA accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensure/Registration: ARRT registered or registry eligible; MA DPH Radiography license; BLS.
• Skills: Proficient with radiology equipment including C-arms/portable.
• Experience: Clinical internship in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Obtains and documents patient information and history for exams.
• Documents contrast usage in medical records.
• Uses RIS with high accuracy and labels images correctly.
• Ensures image quality and low repeat rates; applies ALARA.
• Maintains patient care and safety; participates in on-site and off-site coverage as needed.
• Maintains licensure and complies with policies.
