Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures with emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging. The role also supports OR case coverage.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with Florida CRT licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS; C-Arm experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida CRT licensure.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification current.
• C-Arm experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor supportive of quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Adheres to Orlando Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.
• Assesses patient conditions and age-specific needs.
• Provides instructions for patient cooperation and desired results.
• Performs proper patient identification and documents information accurately.
• Operates and positions equipment to obtain high-quality images for interpretation.
• Assesses image quality and annotations for accuracy and safety.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure

ARRT certification

BLS/Healthcare Provider certification

C-Arm experience
