Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging department.

You will ensure patient safety, accurate imaging, and quality control while adhering to radiation safety standards. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited radiologic program with Florida licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• Valid ARRT certification.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• C-Arm experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and others.
• Assesses patient condition, age-specific needs, and obtains clinical history for accurate documentation.
• Positions patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images suitable for interpretation.
• Ensures proper patient identification and accurate annotation of images.
• Assists in supervision of students and training of new technologists.
