Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality care. This role supports OR case coverage and adheres to radiation safety principles.

The technician will use professional judgment, position patients and equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and image quality for interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid Florida licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
• ARRT certification and current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• C-Arm experience is a plus/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy and/or physiology for interpretation and/or intervention.
• Exercises professional judgment and maintains a demeanor aligned with quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with state and federal regulations applicable to each modality and follows radiation safety principles.
• Assists in supervision of student technologists and training of new technologists.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Florida CRT licensure for Radiologic Technologist

Arrt certification

BLS/Healthcare Provider certification

C-Arm experience (preferred)
