Qualifications

• ARRT-R radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, maintaining diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Prepare and position patients; ensure privacy, comfort and safety.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients; explain procedures clearly using AIDET.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document appropriately in RIS/PACS.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control; restock supplies and assist with crash cart readiness.
