Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiology Technologist for PRN shifts in Georgia. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient comfort, and document exams in RIS/PACS as part of a collaborative care team.

The role emphasizes safety (ALARA), clear patient communication, and accurate administration of contrast when required, with opportunities for growth within Wellstar’s integrated health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program are required.
• ARRT-R certification and BLS are required.
• Experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and competently, maintaining diagnostic quality while minimizing patient dose (ALARA).
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; document properly.
