Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification and BLS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain diagnostic quality with ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and manage rooms and equipment per infection control guidelines.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Document studies accurately and finalize in RIS/PACS.
• Assist with emergencies and support department workflow.
