Qualifications
Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
State Licensure preferred unless required by the state where the job is being performed.
BLS Basic Life Support required at hire.
Responsibilities
Obtains patient's clinical history and lab work documentation.
Positions and immobilizes patient for imaging.
Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure.
Performs radiographic procedures using imaging equipment.
Assists with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures.
Verifies informed consent and completes documentation.
