Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will support physicians, protect patients with ALARA practices, and ensure accurate image transmission to PACS.

The role may include on-call duties and occasional EKGs, with hours typically 8 per day. The ideal candidate has a radiologic technology education, appropriate licenses, and ARRT certification, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• New Jersey Radiology Technologist License.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiology services according to practice standards.
• Maintain ALARA radiation safety and patient protection.
• Obtain optimal imaging studies with proper positioning and technique.
• Assist physicians and technologists in studies and procedures.
• Enter data accurately to support radiologists’ interpretation.
• Readies, installs, and downloads monitors when working at Hamilton.
• Perform EKGs as needed.
