Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide clinical imaging services in accordance with department standards, maintain ALARA safety, and support radiology students and staff. You will ensure accurate patient identification, proper positioning, and correct image transfers to PACS.

Education must include a radiologic technology program with NJ licensure and ARRT credentials; on-call, holiday and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and NJ Radiology Technologist License.
• ARRT certification required; on-call and weekend work may be needed.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical imaging services per department standards and ensure patient safety.
• Demonstrate ALARA principles and proper use of radiation protection protocols.
• Assist in transferring images to PACS and optimize studies for interpretation.
• Readies, installs, and downloads monitors if working at Hamilton; perform EKGs as needed.
