Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will adhere to ALARA principles, support PACS workflows, and assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires ARRT credential, BLS, and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program; NJ license listed, with on-call and weekend flexibility typical for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• New Jersey Radiology Technologist License.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience: No previous experience required.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider.
• Knowledge and Skills: On-call, holiday, and weekend availability.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical radiology services according to practice standards.
• Ensures radiation protection and patient safety per protocols.
• Obtains high-quality imaging studies with proper anatomy and technique.
• Maintains ALARA exposure levels and correct PACS image transmission.
• Assists physicians during studies using standard protocols and infection control.
