Job summary

Advocate Health in Oak Lawn, IL seeks a licensed Radiographic Technologist to perform imaging with radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography and PACS equipment, ensuring high-quality studies and proper image labeling.

You will operate equipment, maintain safety, and contribute to continuous quality improvement, with CPR certification and ARRT eligibility as part of the requirements. Prior radiology experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology; prior radiology experience is desirable.
• Licensed Radiographic Technologist by the IDNS/IEMA; CPR Certification; ARRT Registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Determine radiographic technique and positions to ensure optimum film quality.
• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, CR and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations.
• Label images and use appropriate tech markers following department criteria.
• Maintain patient care standards and timely flow in rooms and procedures.
• Follow safety practices to ensure a secure work environment.
• Participate in department meetings and quality improvement activities.
