UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and assist physicians in diagnosing patients. The position is non-exempt with a standard 40-hour work week, day shift, and opportunities for a signing bonus.

The role includes maintaining patient safety, accuracy in imaging, and adherence to ALARA principles. The ideal candidate holds MA RTR licensure, ARRT certification within 12 months, and BLS.

Qualifications

• MA RTR licensure is required.
• ARRT radiology certification required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for exams and maintain comfort and modesty.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment as per protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and ALARA standards during procedures.
• Verify patient IDs and requisitions; ensure correct demographics in RIS.
• Review images for quality and complete documentation for readings.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper supply levels.
