Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic imaging while upholding ALARA and patient safety policies.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, position patients, and ensure high-quality images. This role requires MA licensure eligibility, ARRT registration, and CPR certification, with a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible; licensed by MA DPH: Radiation Control.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Follows Quality Control policies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Uses radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Greets patients and gathers medical history.
• Explains procedures clearly and ensures patient comfort during scans.
• Sets up exam rooms and ensures equipment is ready.
