Qualifications

• RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• ARRT certification required within 12 months from date of hire.
• BLS certification required; other modalities may need additional training.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiologic procedures using standard, portable and specialized x-ray equipment.
• Ensure patient positioning, safety, and comfort; obtain informed consent when appropriate.
• Operate imaging equipment per protocol; review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Radiologist and PACs RIS systems to ensure timely workflow.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, orderly work area; adhere to ALARA radiation safety.
