Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide direct patient care and support in the Radiology Diagnostic department. The role requires ARRT certification and Massachusetts licensure, with responsibilities across diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures in varying settings.

The position involves travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton for operational support, with a day shift and 32 hours per week. A signing bonus may be available during recruitment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
• Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs all diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiologic techniques and examinations, consistent with the age of the patient, within in-patient or outpatient settings, in compliance with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintain accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes all exams, paperwork and submits promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately.
• Assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Travel between Marlborough and Nashoba/Groton as scheduled to provide operational, administrative, or departmental support.
• The float requirements only apply to UMass Memorial Nashoba Valley's newly hired staff
