Job summary

You will follow ALARA guidelines, prepare patients, verify orders, document results in PACS, and support radiologists with timely, accurate imaging across CT and MRI procedures.

Must have ARRT certification, state license as applicable, and BCLS within 30 days of hire; 0–1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of clinical radiology experience.
• ARRT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist as applicable by state.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiographic procedures independently with diagnostic-quality images.
• Adheres to ALARA and participates in Image Gently/Image Wisely programs.
• Prepares patients, verifies orders, and identifies patients per policy.
• Maintains equipment and follows infection control standards.
• Documents imaging in PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Communicates effectively with healthcare teams to ensure patient care.
• Inserts IV catheters for contrast injections for CT/MRI per policy.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with all policies.
