Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures and assist in diagnosis and treatment. The role requires positioning patients, ensuring quality images, and maintaining infection control and safety standards.

The full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, a day shift (11:00–19:30), and rotating call with weekends/holidays. Candidates must hold ARRT RT certification and be proficient with EPIC/PACS and radiology equipment.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiographer required.
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Proficient with radiology software and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Position patients and operate radiographic equipment safely.
• Perform imaging with accurate demographics and documentation.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety checks.
• Follow radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
