Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred.
• Possess a valid Massachusetts State license or temporary license and ARRT certification, or be eligible with one year to obtain.
• BLS required.

Job Responsibilities

• Select type and number of films to provide diagnostic information required following departmental guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients relative to diagnostic equipment.
• Perform radiographic examinations accurately while minimizing repeat films.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the working area.
• Maintain flow of patients through the area and quality of films under direct supervision of the Technical Manager.
• Operate radiographic equipment knowledgeably with proper radiation safety, including collimation, shielding, and proper identification of films.
• Maintain professional demeanor with patients, medical staff, and others.
• Perform clerical and transportation duties to ensure effective patient care.
• Assist Technical Manager in daily processor/film sensitometry.
• Complete all patient tracking functions for proper billing, report transcription, and film retrieval.

Compensation and Benefits

Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000 sign‑on bonus is available for external candidates only, contingent upon meeting all eligibility requirements.

Base Salary Range: $39.04 – $58.00 per hour.
