Job summary

HCA Florida West Marion Hospital in Ocala, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform procedures using ionizing radiation following ALARA standards. You will operate imaging equipment, optimize factors for diagnostic quality images, and communicate results to the physician.

You may assist with inventory and scheduling and take on-call shifts as needed. The ideal candidate is ARRT-registered, Florida licensed, graduates from an accredited Radiology program, and has BCLS within 30 days of

Job Summary And Qualifications

Provides care for patients and performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for screening, diagnostic and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
• No experience Required Years of Experience
