Job summary

Avera St Anthony's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiographic and CT equipment, producing clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians. This PRN, on-site position requires ARRT certification within 60 days and the ability to work varied hours.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely image delivery while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification within 60 days of hire is required.
• Excellent communication and visual acuity to perform imaging duties and interact with team.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology and CT procedures accurately per standards and protocols.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist or referring practitioner when immediate attention is needed.
• Provides complete exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS, RIS, HIS EMR systems and handles general clerical duties.
• Archives images and ensures delivery to radiologist group; retrieves stored images as needed.

Education

Associate's or a certificate of completion from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
