You will operate radiographic and CT equipment, ensuring accurate images for interpretation and collaborating with radiologists and clinicians.

The role requires an Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology and ARRT certification within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification must be obtained/maintained within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures accurately and per established standards.
• Initiates intervention to radiologist or referring practitioner when needed.
• Reviews indications for exams and reports inappropriate indications to supervisor.
• Provides complete exam data for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, HIS and EMR systems; performs general clerical duties.
• Archives image data for permanent storage and sends images to radiologist group.
• Maintains safety, confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Education
