Job summary

Avera St Mary’s Hospital is seeking a radiology technologist to operate radiographic, CT, mammography and MRI equipment, delivering clinically diagnostic images as directed by physicians. You will coordinate with radiologists, manage imaging data, and support quality and safety protocols in a busy hospital environment.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS certifications with additional radiology credentials; on-site shift work; PRN availability; and a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork

Qualifications

• Associate degree or radiology certificate required and ARRT certification.
• ARRT and/or ARDMS with additional radiology certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic, CT, Mammography and/or MRI imaging procedures to standards.
• Notify radiologist when immediate attention is required.
• Provide complete exam data for interpretation and assist physicians in diagnostic exams.
• Utilize PACS/RIS/HIS/EMR systems and manage image archives and CDs.

Education

Associate's or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology

ARRT and two or more additional radiology certifications

ARDMS and two or more additional radiology certifications
