SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform x-rays, fluoroscopy, portables, OR exams, and BD bone density registry support. The role supports the imaging department and ensures quality images and patient care.

Qualifications include completion of a Radiology Technology program; no experience required; BLS HCP and ARRT certifications may be required depending on state. This position offers weekend shifts and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and provide educational material.
• Position patients and prepare for radiology exams.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report anomalies.
• Ensure high-quality images and accurate patient data in PACS.
• Maintain and report on equipment function and safety.
• Keep department clean and orderly.
• May perform limited CT in emergent situations when needed.
• Work in a state of alertness and perform other duties as assigned.
