Job summary

Corewell Health Southfield Center is seeking a Radiology Tech Regional Flex to float within assigned hospitals across Corewell Health East. You will perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology while maintaining image quality and following radiation safety standards.

Under supervision, you will provide instruction as appropriate and support flexible scheduling across sites with part-time hours. ARRT registration within 6 months and prior radiography experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT registration within 6 months of hire date.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience; student training accepted.
• BLS certification at time of hire (AHA or ARC).
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Float within assigned Corewell Health East hospitals.
• Perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide quality images.
• Apply radiation protection principles and comply with regulations.
• Provide clinical instruction as appropriate.

Scope of Work

The Radiology Tech Regional Flex agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Service Center. Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Required Must be registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire date.
• 1 year of relevant experience Training gained at student level accepted. Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
