Job summary

Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology at the Troy site. The role emphasizes radiation safety, quality imaging, and adherence to established procedures under supervision.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program with ARRT registrations (R) and current BLS certification, ready to join a patient-centered team in a Magnet-designated setting.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT (180 Days) required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT (Upon Hire) required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA (Upon Hire) required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC Upon Hire required

• Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations.
• Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate.

Scope of work

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
