HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment, perform radiographic procedures, and communicate with patients under Radiologist supervision. The role serves inpatients, ED, and outpatient settings, upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has ARRT certification, current BLS, and an AMA-certified Radiology Technology education background, with 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current ARRT certification.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body under Radiologist supervision.
• Perform x-ray procedures and explain procedures to patients, addressing concerns.
• Serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient services as needed.
