HCA HealthONE in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Radiology Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and perform procedures. Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Perform x‑ray therapy under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Serve patients in emergency, hospital, and outpatient settings.
• Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols.

• Position is full-time Nights, Monday - Thursday 9:00PM-7:30AM or Monday - Wednesday 7:00PM-7:30AM $5.50 night differential on top of base rate for all hours worked!

Job Summary

Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

• Operate x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x‑ray therapy on patients, explain procedures to patients and address their concerns.
• Serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.
• Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient‑care skills and provide quality diagnostic results.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
• Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Prefer 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography.
• Vocational School Graduate.
