Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You will perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology while following radiation protection regulations, playing a vital role in caring for patients and their families.

Primary Location: SITE - Trenton Hospital - 5450 Fort St, Trenton. Employment Type: Full time. Shift: Evening. Weekly scheduled hours: 40. Corewell Health supports growth and a safe, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• Training gained at student level is required.
• CRT- Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) within 180 days.
• CRT- Radiographer (R) Registration (ARRT) within 180 days.
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology.
• Follow regulations and radiation protection principles.
• Contribute as a vital member of the radiology team.

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

As a Radiology Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology while following regulations and principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level. Required
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
