The Miriam Hospital, part of Brown University Health, seeks a radiologic technologist to perform various radiographic procedures under the Diagnostic Imaging Manager. You will prepare patients, operate fixed or portable radiographic equipment, ensure safety, and process images to PACS for physician review.

Responsibilities include scheduling, quality assurance, training staff and students, and adhering to safety, infection control, and department protocols; shifts include weekends and holidays;

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Current Rhode Island license to practice radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• Demonstrated care for patients across the life span with sensitivity to cultural patterns.

Responsabilités

• Explain radiologic examinations to patients to reduce apprehension.
• Schedule radiologic examinations and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Operate fixed or portable radiographic equipment and process images to PACS/RIS.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and department protocols; train staff and students.
