Qualifications

Florida x-ray license active and in good standing.
American Heart Association BLS active and in good standing.
CPI certification within 180 days of hire.
ARRT radiologic technologist registration.

Responsibilities

Operate portable and stationary x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
Prepare examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during examinations.
Follow Radiation Safety and ALARA policies and regulations.
Enter exam data into PACS after procedures.
Communicate with hospital staff, physicians, and patients.
Report equipment problems to the appropriate personnel.
Provide CPI supervision for behavior health patients when needed.
