Job summary

Required licenses include Florida General x-ray, ARRT (RT), and BLS; CPI training within 180 days is expected. AMA-accredited radiology education is preferred, with strong communication and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Florida General x-ray license (active, in good standing)

• AHA BLS certification (active)
• CPI training within 180 days of hire/transfer

Responsibilities

• Adjusts equipment, determines technique, and positions patient for correct radiographs.
• Communicates with hospital staff, physicians, and patients.
• Follows patient-identification policy and ensures prompt image review with supervisor.
• Provides radiation safety; adheres to ALARA and regulations.
• Operates portable and stationary x-ray equipment; prepares rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety during examinations.
