Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs using portable and stationary equipment. You will follow ALARA and Radiation Safety policies to protect patients and staff.

You will prepare examination rooms, position patients, document exposure data in PACS/Cerner, and communicate clearly with team members while maintaining infection control standards and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Accredited School of Radiology Technology preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable and stationary x-ray equipment and prepare examination rooms.
• Follow Radiation Safety and ALARA policies to minimize patient dose.
• Document exposure parameters in Cerner and PACS.
• Position patients and assist during examinations.
• Transmit patient data to PACS immediately after exam.
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory of scan room.
