Job summary

St. Michael's Hospital Avera in Tyndall, SD is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following established protocols. You will help ensure patient safety, prepare and position patients, and document procedures in the EHR/PACS.

Requires ARRT licensure or active enrollment in a Radiologic Technology program; CT certification and/or experience preferred. This full-time role includes shift coverage bi-weekly and includes access to Rural Healthcare Facility

Qualifications

• Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT certification and/or prior radiology experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and imaging quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain imaging quality and radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and department policies.
