Job summary

Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital Avera in Scotland, SD is seeking a Radiology Technologist for PRN coverage to perform diagnostic imaging and participate in on-call rotations including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role supports a small department with opportunities for independent work within established protocols.

The candidate will perform X-ray procedures, ensure image quality and patient safety, and document results in the EHR/PACS, with cross-training in CT and ongoing education

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for ARRT certification.
• Preferred CT certification and/or CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols.
• Ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for exams.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Document procedures accurately in EHR/PACS.
• Participate in CT training; cross-training is required and can be provided.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to support patient care.
• Maintain competency through continuing education.
• Support department workflow and coverage needs.
• Provide patient-centered care in a team environment.

Position Summary

The Radiology Technologist supports department coverage by performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Position Highlights

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program OR Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Must be eligible for ARRT certification
• Preferred CT certification and/or experience
