Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, document patient histories, and verify patient identity. This full-time role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic training and registry eligibility within 1 year, plus BLS.

Day shifts, no holidays or weekends, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates. You will work closely with radiologists and involve in contrast administration and equipment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and verifying identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients accurately for each exam.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by department standards.
